Rayna Tharani is a multifaceted creative individual, distinguished for her work in the film industry, including the critically acclaimed movie For Colored Girls. Her impressive television credits include starring roles in popular shows such as Rosewood on FOX, NCIS on CBS, Criminal Minds on CBS, and Days of Our Lives on NBC, among many others.
Prior to embarking on her acting career, Rayna moved to Los Angeles, driven by her passion for dance, after graduating from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Journalism, English Literature, and Fine Arts.
In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Rayna is also a published author. Her debut book, Pages of Me: A Lovesick Journey, was released in 2015 and showcases her poetic skills. This literary achievement earned her membership in the prestigious LA Poets Society.
Rayna is set to make her directorial debut in 2016 with the documentary Aphrodite Rising, further solidifying her status as a talented and versatile artist.
