Rebecca Hanssen, a talented Scottish actor, hails from London, with a unique cultural background. Born in Stavanger, Norway, to an Italian-Irish mother and Norwegian father, her family relocated to Scotland when she was just four years old. Growing up in Glasgow, Rebecca's early years shaped her into the accomplished actress she is today.
As her career progressed, Rebecca's first professional role was in the feature film, The Drowning of Arthur Braxton, directed by Luke Cutforth, where she shared the screen with renowned actor Johnny Vegas. This breakthrough performance was followed by leading roles in two CBBC shows, Dixi and Creeped Out, before she landed a significant part in the Scottish feature film, Tell It to the Bees, alongside Anna Paquin.
Subsequently, Rebecca took on the role of Jemima West's daughter in The Unfamiliar and Amy Carven in Lore, before securing a notable part in Season 2 of The Witcher, playing the character of Queen Meve.
