Rebecca's journey in the entertainment industry began with a Bachelor's degree in Theater from the University of Evansville in southern Indiana, after which she took a hiatus from acting to work as a political fundraiser for several years, traveling across the country.
Her return to the stage was marked by a year-long stint with Theater on the Square in Memphis, where she fulfilled a lifelong dream by playing the iconic role of Peter Pan, as well as other notable characters in productions of Streetcar Named Desire, Taming of the Shrew, and Sugar Babies.
Rebecca's next venture was a six-year stint with the San Francisco Mime Troupe, a Tony Award-winning musical theater company renowned for its broad style and political satire. During her time with the troupe, she starred in the Obie Award-winning production of Seeing Double, a musical that tackled the complex issue of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Rebecca's film debut came in the form of Copy Cat, which prompted her to make the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles. Her big break in Hollywood came with roles in LA Confidential, Titanic, The Green Mile, and Best Laid Plans, as well as appearances in popular TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother, The Odd Couple, Hot in Cleveland, and Parks and Recreation.
While taking an on-camera class, Rebecca discovered a newfound passion for writing and producing, which led her to create her web series The Calamities of Jane, in which she stars in the leading role. Her work can also be seen in the YouTube/Brat production A Girl Named Joe, where she plays a retro Home Ec teacher.
Today, Rebecca resides in Los Angeles, where she continues to pursue her passions for writing, producing, performing, and teaching kids' acting.
