Person Biography:
Rebecca Reynolds is a renowned filmmaker, television producer, and writer from Mayfield, Kentucky. With decades of experience in the entertainment industry, she has worked in New York City and Los Angeles, creating a wide range of projects in film, television, and theatre.
Reynolds is the co-creator and producer of the hit true crime podcast Hollywood and Crime, which has reached #1 on the iTunes podcast charts. The podcast has three series, including The Black Dahlia Serial Killers, Young Charlie, and The Wonderland Murders, with Reynolds co-writing and producing the latter two.
As an executive producer, Reynolds worked on the award-winning film Christina, starring Nicki Aycox, Jordan Belfi, and Stephen Lang. She also produced the comedy documentary The Coexist Comedy Tour, which debuted on Starz and is now available on Amazon.com. Reynolds and her husband, Jim Carpenter, won the Best Documentary award for The Coexist Comedy Tour at VisionFest13.
Reynolds' other producing credits include the noir suspense thriller The Girl on the Train, starring Henry Ian Cusick and Nicki Aycox, and the stage play "Hit-Lit," a comedy by Robert Wuhl.
