Throughout his career, he has been part of two Peabody-Award-Winning projects as a Cinematographer and has been twice nominated for an Emmy Award for his outstanding work in cinematography.

Miller's mother, who emigrated to New York from Jamaica, West Indies, is of Portuguese, African, and Jewish descent, reflecting the rich cultural heritage that has shaped his perspective as a filmmaker.
