Rhys Becker, a talented individual born at home in Encinitas, California, on December 20, 2010, embarked on a journey of self-discovery at the tender age of seven when he landed the role of young Philip Carlyle in a musical theatre production of The Greatest Showman at a local studio in Orange County, California.
As he matured, Rhys's passion for performing only intensified, and at the age of 10, he joined the Center Stage competitive Dance Team, where he honed his skills in various dance styles, including hip hop, all boys jazz, tap, and musical theatre ensemble, while also showcasing his talents in dance solos and monologues.
During this period, Rhys's fascination with acting for television and film began to take shape, and he started taking classes with some of the industry's top acting coaches, including Devon Odessa, Improv at Second City, and Voice Over with Tony Gonzales.
Rhys's talent and dedication soon led to a flurry of bookings, including commercials, short films, and music videos, and he became hooked on acting. In October 2021, he landed the supporting role of "Will," Gina Carano's son, in the Western film Terror on the Prairie (2022),which was filmed in Montana under the direction of the acclaimed Michael Polish.
Aside from acting, Rhys is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys activities such as rock climbing, climbing trees, hiking, surfing, and swimming. He is also an accomplished musician, skilled in playing the guitar and ukulele. When not pursuing his passions, Rhys can often be found curled up with a book or busy building a Lego creation.
