Richard Garner, a renowned Atlanta-based actor, has had a diverse and extensive career in the entertainment industry. With his training at the esteemed American Conservatory Theatre, he has brought his talents to the small and big screens, appearing in a wide range of productions. Some of his most notable roles include The Hill, The Land of Loud Flavors, a commercial for Bud Light Seltzer Hard Soda that aired during Super Bowl LVI, Cobra Kai, Bigger, The Resident, Irrisistible, Dwight in Shining Armor, and the Hallmark movie Christmas Everlasting.
In addition to his acting endeavors, Richard Garner has also made a significant impact as a stage director. For nearly three decades, he served as the Co-Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Georgia Shakespeare, a position he held with distinction. During his tenure, he oversaw the production of over 50 plays, working with various esteemed theater companies, including the Alliance Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, Synchronicity Theater, and Orlando Shakespeare, among others.
