Richard Harrison is a multi-award winning filmmaker and scriptwriter with a vast range of experience in film and television. Over a span of 20 years, he has directed or produced more than 80 television programs, covering a diverse array of genres such as international adventure, current affairs, wildlife, and extreme location documentaries, as well as high-profile reality programs and pure, fly-on-the-wall documentaries without voice over. One of his documentaries was even nominated for a prestigious Grierson Award.
His impressive filmography also includes a range of drama and film credits, from his highly successful short film "Sweet Thing" to the cult classic "The Honey Killer", a multi-award winning feature film that became one of the biggest online films in the world from 2018 to 2022.
Currently, Richard is pitching his second feature film, "Handful of Thieves", which already boasts two well-known Spanish and Latin actors attached to star, courtesy of one of Spain's leading casting directors. Additionally, the film has secured the attachment of his Emmy-nominated Director of Photography.
Throughout his career, Richard has accumulated an impressive six awards for directing and scriptwriting, and has been nominated for a further twelve awards.
