Richmond Shepard, a true Renaissance man, has etched his name as one of America's most remarkable mimes, captivating audiences worldwide with his one-man show. With an extensive touring schedule, he has performed in every major city across the United States, solidifying his reputation as a fixture in the entertainment industry.
For years, he was a mainstay at the iconic "The IceHouse" in Pasadena, California, honing his craft and perfecting his art. His impressive resume also includes producing shows in New York City, with the notable "The Lenny Bruce Revue" being one of his most memorable projects.
Shepard's innovative spirit is evident in his creation of the improvisational comedy troupe "Noo Yawk Tawk", which served as a proving ground for numerous young talents. Some of the notable performers who got their start in the troupe include Debra Wilson from Mad TV (1995),Stan Taffel, a three-time Emmy Award Winner for The News in Revue (1993),and Doug Katsaros, composer for The Tick (1994),among many others.
