Ricky Hards, a talented English actor and model, was born on December 13, 1963. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Charlie Jolson in The Getaway, where he not only appeared on screen but also lent his voice to the character.
In addition to his work on The Getaway, Hards has made numerous appearances on British television, including roles in Lock, Stock... and Casualty. He has also starred alongside Joe Rice in the short film High Infidelity.
One of Hards' most notable roles was in the 2000 comedy drama series Border Cafe, where he played the character Morris Tollit, a trucker. Interestingly, Tollit is a recurring character who appears or is referenced in several of the series' episodes, and his character has also been depicted in other shows.
In the 1994 sitcom Once Upon a Time in the North, Hards played a regular character, and in the second series of Preston Front in 1995, his character was mentioned as having given the central character, Hodge, a lift. Despite his character's appearances in various shows, the reason for his transformation from a middle-aged northern truck driver with an Indian spirit guide named Geronimo to a gruff, muscular cockney trucker in Border Cafe remains unexplained.
