Dr. (H.C.) H. Mochamad Ridwan Kamil, S.T., M.U.D., a renowned Indonesian architect and politician of great distinction, has been proudly serving as the Governor of West Java since September 5th, 2018, a position of immense responsibility and prestige.
Before taking on the esteemed role of a government official, this charismatic and affable individual, affectionately known as Kang Emil, had a highly fulfilling career as a practicing architect, where he applied his creative and innovative skills to design and develop various projects.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Ridwan Kamil also had the privilege of serving as a non-permanent lecturer at the prestigious Bandung Institute of Technology, where he shared his expertise and knowledge with students, inspiring and mentoring the next generation of architects and leaders.
