Rob Archer's imposing physique, standing at 6'7" and weighing 285lbs of solid, etched muscle, is reminiscent of a comic book superhero come to life. As an actor, he effortlessly transitions between various roles, showcasing his versatility. His notable credits include playing Bio-Man on "Defiance," Bruce on "Lost Girl," and multiple characters on "Warehouse 13." Archer has also made appearances on "XIII: The Series," "The Samaritan," "Bulletproof Monk," "Beauty and the Beast," "Kickass2," "Flashpoint," "Alphas," and "Repo Men."
In 2015, Archer embodied the role of Krampus in "A Christmas Horror Story," co-starring William Shatner, which premiered at the Fantasia Film Festival. His performance earned him two awards from the 2015 After Dark Film Festival: Best Monster/Creature (Krampus) and Best Villain (Krampus played by Rob Archer).
Archer's recent projects include "22 Chaser," where he starred opposite Brian J. Smith and Raoul Trujillo, and "Operation Insanity," in which he took on the role of James Caan. Prior to that, he appeared as the lead Navy Seal in "Pixels," trading lines with Josh Gad. Archer's career began as a stuntman/actor on "Mutant X," where he played the villain in the Season 2 finale and returned for the third season.
Rob Archer will also be appearing in the upcoming Netflix feature "The Man from Toronto," starring Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson, where he plays the menacing character of "Oscar." The film is set to debut in the summer of 2022.
In addition to his work in film and television, Archer has also made a name for himself in the video game world. He will be announcing a major label video game project in the near future, a natural evolution from his character 'The Conduit' in the GlassMonkey Studios comic book of the same name. As a spokesperson, Archer serves as the international ambassador for Mr Hyde for Pro Supps, a world-renowned sports nutrition company, and is also the face of the franchise.
