Rob Figueroa was born in Riviera, Florida, a place that would later influence his artistic pursuits. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Performing Arts from SUNY New Paltz, a prestigious institution that has also been the alma mater of renowned actor John Turturro. In addition to his undergraduate degree, Rob also earned a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Nyack College. His academic pursuits didn't stop there, as he later went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from Wilkes University. To further hone his craft, Rob also studied at the esteemed William Esper Studios in New York City.
Rob's extensive acting career has included recurring roles on popular soap operas such as Guiding Light and As the World Turns. His impressive commercial credits include prominent brands like McDonald's, Bud Light, K-Mart, Lowes, Olive Garden, and AT&T. His network credits are equally impressive, with appearances on shows like Blacklist (NBC),New Amsterdam (NBC),Blue Bloods (CBS),and most recently, East New York (CBS). In 2018, Rob had the unique opportunity to work with acclaimed director Guy Nattiv on the film Skin, starring Jamie Bell. He has also shared the screen with notable actors like Josh Hutcherson in the movie Burn.
Rob's latest project is his first major supporting role in the film Paint, which premiered nationwide in April 2023 and features an all-star cast including Owen Wilson, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Stephen Root, and Michaela Watkins. Throughout his career, Rob has received several best actor nominations for his work on short films, including Benefits Not Included and Something's Fishy.
When he's not acting, Rob is a passionate entrepreneur, having co-founded a production company called The Four Figs with his lifelong partner, Lisa Monacelli. The company has produced and directed numerous short films and is currently in development for its first feature film, The Brothers of St. Francis.
Rob is also an accomplished athlete, specializing in obstacle course racing (OCR) under the Spartan brand. In 2017, he was invited to attend the World Championship of OCR in Canada, where he placed in the top 20% worldwide. In addition to his athletic pursuits, Rob has also written a children's book called "The King in the Clouds".
