Rob Jenkins is an Australian actor with a diverse range of experience in film, television, and theatre. Before pursuing his passion for acting, he was an avid rugby league player, playing the sport throughout his preteen and teenage years. However, it was during his teenage years that he discovered his true calling in the performing arts.
Jenkins' early performances were often impromptu, taking place in front of his classmates on his desk during school lessons. It wasn't until his late teens that he began to take his passion for acting seriously, studying at The Actors Workshop in Brisbane.
His feature film debut came in 2003 with the Australian zombie hit "Undead," where he played the role of pilot "Wayne." This was followed by appearances in "Sharkmen" in 2008, where he played the role of hired hitman "Orca," and "Australiens" in 2014, where he played the role of "Crowe."
In 2014, Jenkins reunited with the Spierig Brothers in the time-travel drama "Predestination," where he played the role of "Mr. Jones." He has also appeared in numerous short films, including "Wasted" in 2001, "Broken" in 2010, "A 12 Step Program" in 2010, and "The Irving Hand Prophecy" in 2001, where he played the title role and won the Best Actor award at the Warner Bros. Filmmaker Awards.
In addition to his work in film, Jenkins has also had a successful career in television.
