Rob's life began in Rotherham, a part of Sheffield, where the allure of entertainment was deeply ingrained in his upbringing. His father, John, was a comedian, and his mother, Elizabeth, was a skilled dancer, thereby instilling in Rob a strong passion for the performing arts from a tender age.
As fate would have it, Rob relocated to Southport when he was just ten years old, allowing him to further hone his craft amidst the vibrant cultural landscape of this seaside town.
Years later, at the tender age of eighteen, Rob embarked on a formal training program at the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. Upon completing his studies, he made the bold decision to relocate to the bustling metropolis of London, where he currently resides.
