Robbie Lee, a captivating and lively brunette actress, was born on September 1, 1954, in the picturesque San Fernando Valley of Southern California. Her mother, Georgia Lee, was an accomplished actress, while her father, Ralph Lee, was a talented character actor who later found his calling as a preacher and the founder of the Valley Presbyterian Church. Robbie's godparents were none other than the renowned cowboy star Roy Rogers and his wife, Dale Evans.
Robbie made her film debut as an infant in one of her mother Georgia's movies. After graduating from Monroe High School in 1972, she began her career in modeling, appearing in numerous print ads and TV commercials. Her most iconic and enduring cult cinema roles include her fiery portrayal of the tough and fearsome all-female gang leader "Lace" in Jack Hill's delightfully trashy Switchblade Sisters (1975),also known as "The Jezebels". Lee was equally memorable as Angie Dickinson's adorable but dim-witted daughter "Polly" in the equally enjoyable Depression-era drive-in exploitation romp Big Bad Mama (1974).
Robbie made guest appearances on episodes of the popular TV series Police Woman (1974) and The Six Million Dollar Man (1974). In the 1980s, Lee transitioned to a successful voice acting career, providing numerous character voices for the animated children's television shows Rainbow Brite (1984),Q*bert (1982),The Get Along Gang (1984),and Pound Puppies and the Legend of Big Paw (1988). Notably, she was inducted into the Voice-over Hall of Fame for her vocal work as "Zipper Cat" on The Get Along Gang.
Today, Robbie resides on a ranch in Southern California with her husband, Michael.
