Robert Amstler was born in Vienna, Austria, where his athletic endeavors were enthusiastically encouraged by his father, a former Olympic competitor. This nurturing environment allowed Robert to develop his physical abilities at a young age, and he quickly achieved impressive results, earning him recognition in various competitions throughout Austria, many of which he went on to win.
In 2005, Robert's charismatic presence and physique made him a natural fit for the role of the Brawny paper towel spokesperson, solidifying his status as a household name. He also had the distinction of serving as a photo double for Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) and starred alongside Jodie Foster in the critically acclaimed movie Flightplan (2005).
Robert's reality TV debut came in 2004, when he became a finalist on the prime-time dating show Cupid. America fell in love with Robert, and he received a significant amount of public support, making it to the final episode.
