Bob has been actively involved in the world of stage, theater, and film since 1967, demonstrating his versatility by taking on both behind-the-scenes and in-front-of-the-camera roles. His early acting credits include notable films such as Solo, Choke Canyon, Evil in Clear River, and Halloween 4. Additionally, he has honed his skills as a stunt man, specializing in fights, falls, and cars, and has had the opportunity to work alongside notable actors like Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, and others.
As his experience grew, Bob began to shift his focus towards working behind the camera, taking on roles such as grip, key grip, and other key positions within various departments. This move allowed him to gain a deeper understanding of the film-making process and develop a range of skills.
Over the years, Bob has worked on numerous films and commercials, gradually expanding his expertise to include scheduling and budgeting. His work in pre-production packaging, 1st AD, and second unit direction has given him a unique perspective on the industry.
In 1982, Bob joined Aquila Films, where he contributed to pre-production packaging. Later, in 1987, he began working for NAK Entertainment, taking on similar responsibilities. He also worked as the 1st AD on the pilot "Dojo Kids" and as a second unit director on "A Boy Named Danger" and "Mr. Atlas".
Currently, Bob is focusing on his work as an AD, further solidifying his reputation in the industry. His extensive experience has allowed him to work on a wide range of projects, from small-budget films to large-scale productions. With over 30 years in the film industry, Bob has developed a keen sense of what each department needs, allowing him to reduce costs and stress. Ultimately, Bob finds joy in the business side of the creative process.
