Jessie Robert Demeo was born in Brooklyn, New York, and spent his formative years in the Rosedale Queens area, where he was raised by his parents Aldo and Amelia Demeo. In 1969, the entire Demeo family made the significant decision to relocate to Florida, marking a new chapter in Jessie's life.
During his time in Florida, Jessie attended Broward Community College for two years, concurrently pursuing his passion for music by playing in the popular rock band Latifundia. His musical endeavors ultimately led him to transfer to the University of Michigan, where he completed his education in 1972.
Upon arriving in Los Angeles in 1982, Jessie chose to rebrand himself as Jessie Eastland, and he subsequently established a successful career as a glamour photographer. Prior to this, he had already gained experience in live-action stills, having worked on the set of the 1971 film Sometimes Aunt Martha Does Dreadful Things, for which he was also offered a main acting role, which he accepted.
In addition to his work as a photographer, Jessie Eastland has also made a name for himself in the music industry, writing, recording, and releasing his own music. Today, he is a nature photographer for Wikipedia and Skytrek.life, and he continues to be an active force in the world of music.
As of 2021, Jessie Eastland resides in Joshua Tree, California, where he devotes much of his time to capturing stunning images of the sky for his website, Skytrek.life.
