Robert was born in Albion, Michigan, to two remarkable parents who provided for him in every way possible, gifting him with an extremely sheltered childhood that allowed his imagination to soar even into adulthood.
As an intelligent kid who straddled the line between popularity and obscurity, Robert found himself by losing himself, navigating a home that stressed education and expected him to follow in his parents' footsteps.
His father, a scientist, and mother, a former educator, instilled in him a love for learning, and he began his studies in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Mexico.
However, the demand of education, work, and life was draining, and Robert found himself searching for his true passion. This was the pivotal season in his life where he would discover his love, his purpose, and his passion for the art of acting and filmmaking.
A close friend and playwright won a contest, allowing him to produce his project, and Robert was persuaded to audition for the lead role. Although he was initially hesitant due to the competition, his friend's persistence paid off, and he was given the part.
It was during this rehearsal that Robert caught a glimpse of his dream, to share the gift given to him with the world. Turning his back on the "chosen" path was both easy and difficult, but he began training immediately, studying various techniques of both modern and classically trained actors.
Two months into his training, Robert saw an open call for a film called "Around the Bend" being cast by Mali Finn, and he landed a small speaking part, proving that his dream was both real and obtainable.
Robert has a younger brother, two younger sisters, and three amazing nephews, and he continues his journey with renewed passion and fervor.
