Robert Levine has been actively engaged in the television industry as a writer and producer since the year 2006. His impressive portfolio of work includes notable credits such as Jericho, Harpers Island, Human Target, and Touch. Furthermore, he co-created the highly acclaimed pirate epic Black Sails alongside Jon Steinberg, which successfully aired for four seasons on the esteemed Starz network.
In recent years, Levine has been diligently developing a range of projects. Notably, he created a series based on the extraordinary life of Cleopatra for Amazon Studios, adapted the highly acclaimed mystery novel Gone Baby Gone by Dennis Lehane for 20th Century Fox and Miramax, and collaborated with Carlton Cuse and ABC Studios to develop the legal drama Whistleblowers. Additionally, he is the co-creator of the FX series The Old Man, which is based on the novel by Thomas Perry and features the renowned actor Jeff Bridges in the starring role. Production on the series is currently underway in Los Angeles.
Before embarking on his successful career in television, Levine earned his academic credentials from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Today, he resides in Los Angeles with his loving wife and daughters.
