Robert Peterpaul is a multi-talented individual with a passion for storytelling and spreading kindness. Born and raised in New Jersey, he developed an early interest in the arts, often putting on shows in his living room or browsing the aisles at Blockbuster.
At the tender age of 9, Robert made his Off-Broadway debut at the York Theatre, followed by a stint in the Broadway musical SEUSSICAL. He has since worked extensively in TV, film, and theatre, earning the title of "Connecticut's BEST ACTOR" by BroadwayWorld. Some of his notable theatre credits include BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, NEWSIES, and JERSEY BOYS.
On-screen, Robert has appeared in TV shows such as CBS's BULL, ABC's PAN AM, and comedy sketches for THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT. He has also had roles in films like James Franco and Netflix's KING COBRA, SONY's WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT, and the Amazon feature SITTING IN BARS WITH CAKE alongside Yara Shahidi and Bette Midler.
In addition to his acting career, Robert has been a writer for nearly a decade, penning articles for major publications and projects such as NBC's America's Got Talent, Screen Rant, The Huffington Post, Backstage, Writer's Weekly, and HOLA! USA, where he served as an editor for six years.
As a writer, Robert has had the opportunity to interview numerous celebrities, including Pulitzer Prize-winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth, Olympian Laurie Hernandez, and more. This has led him to host at prestigious live and red carpet events, including the Tony Awards.
To further spread kindness and positivity, Robert created the podcast "The Art of Kindness with Robert Peterpaul," which was signed by The Broadway Podcast Network and now ranks in the top 3% of podcasts globally. The podcast features conversations with artists from all areas of the entertainment industry who use their platform to make the world a better place.
Robert has also been involved in various charitable endeavors, particularly with his family's nonprofit, THE THOMAS PETERPAUL FOUNDATION, which was established in honor of his late brother Thomas who passed away from cancer. The foundation has helped countless pediatric cancer patients and their families since its inception.
In addition to his work with TPF, Robert has also partnered with Novartis and spoken before congress at the US Capitol on behalf of the foundation to get the CAR T Cell Therapy approved. He is also an advocate for the nonprofit WOMEN IN ENTERTAINMENT, which assists women both working in and aspiring to work in the entertainment industry.
