Robert Ray Shafer Jr. came into the world in April 1958, specifically in Charleston, West Virginia, a place where his early life was marked by the presence of his father, a heavy equipment operator, and his mother, a dedicated housewife.
As a young boy, Shafer's family relocated to Bowie, Maryland, where he spent his formative years before eventually graduating from high school in Romeo, Michigan, in 1976.
Following his academic pursuits, Shafer enrolled at Broward College in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he spent time honing his skills before making the bold decision to move to Los Angeles in 1980.
It was in this city that Shafer began to pursue his passion for acting, enrolling in classes with the esteemed Peggy Feury at The Loft Studios.
Throughout his career, Shafer has had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including feature films, television shows, commercials, voice overs, and stage productions.
On a personal note, Shafer is currently single and boasts a impressive 10 handicap on the golf course.
