Robert's early life was marked by a fascination with make-believe superheroes and monsters, a passion that would later influence his career in acting. Growing up in Omaha, Nebraska, he developed a sense of adventure and a willingness to take risks, traits that would serve him well in his future endeavors.
As he entered his teenage years, Robert made the move to Cottage Grove, Minnesota, where he discovered his athletic prowess on the soccer field. He went on to play for the University of Minnesota's Golden Gophers, an experience that taught him discipline and the importance of teamwork.
To fund his college education, Robert took on a series of unconventional jobs at Amour's Meat Packing Slaughterhouse. He worked tirelessly, holding every position available, from hog killer to beef side carrier, and even participating in an outdoor pigeon shoot – though he never actually fired the gun.
Despite the grueling schedule, Robert found time to pursue his academic interests in finance and child psychology. However, it was during his senior year, when he snuck into an advanced acting class, that he discovered his true calling. The experience ignited a passion within him, and he knew he had to make a career out of acting.
After graduating, Robert embarked on a cross-country journey with four high school friends, riding boxcars from St. Paul to just north of San Francisco. The experience was a thrilling adventure that tested their limits and forged unbreakable bonds.
Settling in Phoenix, Arizona, Robert began his professional acting career with a small traveling company, performing light situation comedies for retired individuals in trailer parks. He also worked a graveyard shift at an aluminum company, squeezing in basketball games and performances before returning to work at midnight.
A friend at the aluminum company encouraged Robert to audition for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and he did. Three years later, he graduated with honors, ranking at the top of a class of 400 actors. Today, Robert resides in North Hollywood, where he has written the apocalyptic zombie horror novel "Dead Horizon." When he's not writing, he can be found playing soccer or running through the Hollywood Hills.
