Robyn Cohen is a talented actress who has made a name for herself in television, film, and theater. She has had starring roles in the Starz network series "Gravity" and has also appeared in numerous other TV shows, including "Cristela," "N.C.I.S.," "The Mentalist," "The Defenders," "Invasion," "The Closer," "Angel," "The Strand," "N.C.I.S. L.A.," "Starved," "Lax," and others.
In film, Cohen has appeared in a range of projects, including Wes Anderson's "The Life Aquatic" opposite Bill Murray, "The Celestine Prophecy," "ZZYZX," "Beau Jest" with Lainie Kazan, "Road Hard" opposite Adam Carolla, and James Franco's films "Good Time Max," "Fools Gold," "Bukowski," and "The Institute." She has also appeared in the sci-fi thrillers "Ascension" and "Bedeviled," which is set to be released in 2017.
On stage, Cohen has had the opportunity to play a wide range of characters. She has appeared at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, where she played Lady Bellaston in Jon Jory's adaptation of Henry Fielding's "Tom Jones." She has also appeared at the Cleveland's Classic Theater Company/Idaho Shakespeare Festival, where she played Margot Wendice in "Dial M for Murder" and rounded out their Repertory season as Regan in "King Lear."
Cohen is a graduate of The Juilliard School and has worked with a number of renowned directors, including Jeff Calhoun, Doug Hughes, Tony Stevens, Jerry Herman, and Neil Labute. She has appeared in a range of productions, including "Will Rogers Follies," "Farragut North," "Cabaret," "The Grand Tour," "The Shape of Things," and "The Exonerated."
In addition to her work in television, film, and theater, Cohen has also appeared in over 85 national commercials. She has been an acting teacher since 2006 and has also directed and taught at various institutions and workshops.
