Person Biography:
Robyn Griggs was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where she started her acting career at the tender age of three in a production of A Doll's House. She continued to hone her skills by taking singing and dancing lessons, seeking to gain more experience for her future stage work.
As a teenager, Robyn struggled with her schoolwork, finding it difficult to concentrate in class and eventually hiring a tutor to help her keep up with her grades. Despite her academic challenges, she remained dedicated to her craft, balancing her time between acting and school.
Robyn's early career saw her landing roles in various TV commercials and theater productions across the USA, including the iconic role of Annie in off-Broadway shows. She even hosted the TV show Rated K on Nickelodeon, showcasing her versatility as a performer.
As she entered adulthood, Robyn's career took a significant turn when she landed the role of Stephanie Hobart on the daytime soap opera One Life to Live on ABC from 1991 to 1992. During this time, she also acted on Broadway at the Minskoff Theater.
After graduating from high school, Robyn attempted to make it in the Los Angeles acting world but soon found the pressure overwhelming and returned to New York. She then landed the role of Maggie Cory on the daytime soap opera Another World on NBC, playing the rebellious teenage character for almost three years.
In the early 2000s, Robyn took a break from acting to focus on her personal life and eventually returned to the screen in 2001 with a string of independent horror films, including Abattoir, Ghost Tour, and Minds of Terror. She also appeared in several other low-budget horror films and began to tour with horror film conventions across the country.
In addition to her acting career, Robyn also ventured into music, finishing the recording of her first CD, "Love's Young Nightmare". She has continued to act in various films and TV shows, solidifying her position as a talented and versatile performer in the entertainment industry.
