Person Biography:
Rosenfeld has spent her career as a producer, distributor, and overseer of international sales for feature films and television. Currently, she is Vice President of Sovereign Films, overseeing the development of seven feature films scheduled for production in 2020.
She has produced, distributed, and overseen international sales for a variety of films and television shows. Notably, she executive produced the feature-length historical drama "Effie Gray" in 2015, written by Emma Thompson and starring Dakota Fanning and Emma Thompson.
Rosenfeld also created and produced "Creature Features" for HBO, an original anthology series of primetime movies that premiered in Fall 2001. As executive producer, she developed ten scripts and oversaw five feature-length productions, including "Earth vs. the Spider" starring Dan Aykroyd and Theresa Russell, "Day the World Ended" starring Nastassja Kinski and Randy Quaid, "She Creature" starring Carla Gugina and Rufus Sewell, "How to Make a Monster" starring Stephen Culp and Clea Duvall, and "Teenage Caveman" starring Andrew Keegan.
Additionally, Rosenfeld co-produced the documentary films "China Journal" (1987) and "Exiles" (1989) directed by Academy Award-winning documentary director Richard Kaplan. In 2016, she co-produced the short documentary and panel discussion "Ageism in Hollywood".
She has also helmed international sales for the acclaimed documentary "Jodorowsky's Dune" (2013),nominated for Best Documentary from the National Board of Review and listed on the Oscars Documentary Feature Short List for 2014. Rosenfeld domestically distributed and oversaw marketing and advertising for the critically acclaimed film "Anton Chekhov's The Duel" (2010),starring Tobias Menzies and Andrew Scott.
Rosenfeld began her career in journalism, producing, writing, and directing news segments for the NBC's TODAY show fashion correspondent Christy Ferrer.
