Rod's childhood was a canvas of vivid imagination, where he would often dream of one day being a shining star on the big screen. As a young boy, his mother would lovingly drop him and his brother off at the local theater, allowing him to indulge in his love for the magical world of cinema. This was his sanctuary, his haven, where he would escape into a world of wonder and awe.
As he grew older, Rod's creative juices began to flow, and by the tender age of twelve, he was already penning country music lyrics. His passion for the arts only intensified, and by fifteen, he had achieved the impressive feat of earning his black belt in kung-fu, going on to teach at his own martial arts school. It was clear that Rod was a force to be reckoned with, and his dedication to his craft was unwavering.
However, Rod's journey was not without its twists and turns. Lacking confidence, he found himself drifting away from his dream of becoming an actor, instead opting for various jobs to make ends meet. It wasn't until he made the bold move to New York at the age of twenty-one that he finally began to pursue his passion with renewed vigor.
Rod's big break finally came a couple of years later when he landed a role as a dancer in a bank commercial. This was the catalyst he needed to reignite his passion for acting, and he soon found himself crossing over into writing as well. His first published work was in the nonfiction genre of real estate, but he soon made the transition to fiction, becoming one of the youngest authors in history to publish three titles in one year across three separate genres under the pseudonym "Rod L. Griffin".
Today, Rod is a multifaceted artist, spending his time acting, producing, and writing. He has appeared in numerous independent films and commercials, and continues to pursue his passions with unwavering dedication. When he's not working on his latest project, Rod can be found honing his craft at the esteemed Venue Actors Studio, where he trains in the renowned Lee Strasberg Method Acting technique.
