Rodger Corser is a renowned Australian actor, known for his extensive work in television, theatre, and film. He has been nominated for numerous awards, including six Silver and three Gold TV WEEK Logie awards, for his portrayal of Dr. Hugh Knight in the Nine Network's long-running series DOCTOR DOCTOR.
Corser's earlier television credits include his breakout role as Detective Steve Owen in the Nine Network's UNDERBELLY, as well as the lead role of Lawson Blake in the popular Network Ten series RUSH. He also starred alongside Claudia Karvan in two series of Foxtel's SPIRITED.
In addition to his television work, Corser has appeared in several iconic Australian TV series, including STINGERS, McLEOD'S DAUGHTERS, HOME & AWAY, and WATER RATS. He has also had leading roles in productions such as LAST MAN STANDING, PUBERTY BLUES, and PARTY TRICKS.
Corser has also had success in the United States, appearing in the NBC mini-series THE STARTER WIFE alongside Debra Messing and Judy Davis. His other U.S. credits include the NBC series CAMP, opposite Rachel Griffiths.
In film, Corser has appeared in Jonathan Teplitsky's BURNING MAN and Simon Wincer's THE CUP, both released in 2011. He has also had a successful career in theatre, starring in the Australian season of the Broadway musical RENT, as well as roles in BELOW, LEADER OF THE PACK, and SECRET BRIDESMAID'S BUSINESS.
Most recently, Corser has been seen in the second and third series of the Paramount+ drama FIVE BEDROOMS and has completed filming his role as host of Network Ten's reality format THE TRAITORS. He is set to appear in the Netflix limited series THAI CAVE RESCUE, playing Australian anaesthetist and Cave Diver Dr. Richard "Harry" Harris, which is scheduled for release in the second half of 2022.
