In 1992, Rolando embarked on a profound journey by joining the esteemed Five Sides of Light School in Daguestan, where he delved into the philosophical aspects of martial arts, simultaneously honing his skills in Ushu-Santildeda (Kung Fu),Aikido, Tai Chi, boxing, and wrestling.
Moreover, he demonstrated exceptional prowess in the use of various Asian war weapons, including nunchacos, swords, sticks, and other implements, which further augmented his martial arts repertoire.
That same year, Rolando emerged victorious in the stick fighting category at a championship held between several Russian Republics, a testament to his exceptional skill and dedication.
