Biography

Romika Annabell was born in Hamburg, Germany, to a family with a rich cultural heritage. Her mother, Rosemarie Dombrowski (née Arndt),was a hair stylist who owned a small hair salon, while her father, Günter Dombrowski, was an exhibition manager who worked for the company Blohm&Voss. Tragically, Günter passed away when Romika was just 19 years old.

Romika's childhood was marked by travel and urban living, with her parents often moving between towns and cities. She drew great support from her grandmother and godmother, who took care of her during her childhood years.

After her father's passing, Romika's life took a dramatic turn when her boyfriend was diagnosed with cancer. The family faced financial hardship, and Romika was forced to work as a waitress while visiting her boyfriend in the hospital.

Despite these challenges, Romika pursued her passion for the arts, initially studying interior design at the AMD Academy of Fashion and Design Hamburg. She traveled to the South of France, where she immersed herself in the local culture and art scene.

Romika's artistic pursuits led her to abandon her interior design studies and focus on her portfolio, which included paintings, sculptures, and design concepts. She was rejected by the University of Hamburg's modern art program, but decided to pursue architecture at the HafenCity University Hamburg.

After completing her architecture program, Romika moved to Los Angeles and enrolled in a language course at the UCLA. She discovered an acting studio teaching the Meisner Method Acting and began her method acting experience.

Romika continued her acting studies at Joanne Baron's Meisner Acting Technique Studio, where she studied for over two years. She also wrote the comedy series "Crazy Venice Apartment" and starred in several music videos, including "Crazy For You" by Scars on 45 and "Bloodstream" by Ed Sheeran.

In 2015, Romika produced the short film "Good Star," which was officially selected for eight international film festivals. She made her directorial debut with the short film "Arnold & Schnullie" in 2017 and has since produced and acted in the feature film "Wanderlust" directed by Marco Matheus.

Romika Annabell's biography is a testament to her resilience, creativity, and determination to pursue her dreams despite the challenges she has faced.
