Biography

Ron Bush is an American actor who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry, particularly for his roles in the films "St. Vincent" and "Bloodline".

Born in Lakewood, New Jersey, Ron was raised in Toms River, but his early life took a turn when he moved to Georgia for college. Initially, acting was not a career path he had considered, but his life took a dramatic turn when he received an open call for background actors for the movie "Sweet Home Alabama". After spending four days on set, Ron was hooked and knew that acting was the career for him.

After completing his education at Georgia Tech, Ron worked several 9-5 jobs before returning to the entertainment industry. Since then, he has been the principal, supporting, or lead role in over 60 movies, commercials, and industrial projects.

In 2011, Ron won the Best Actor in a Zombie Feature award at the 4th Annual Dead Letter Awards for his leading role in the feature movie "Zombie Doomsday". He was also nominated for Best Actor in a Feature at the World Music and Independent Film Festival for the same role. This movie was shot in just 9 hours and was entirely improvised.

Growing up in Southern New Jersey, Ron moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Management. He later attended Georgia State University for an MBA. After completing his education, Ron worked at the Smithsonian Institution in Baltimore for a short period before deciding to pursue a full-time acting career.

After two years in Baltimore, Ron moved to New York City, where he was able to add several more credits to his resume, including a scene with Bill Murray and Naomi Watts in "St. Vincent", co-starring roles in "Louie" and "Your Worst Nightmare", and several indie movies. Three years later, Ron made the move to Atlanta, where production was booming, and he was able to book several TV roles, including a Recurring Guest Star on Tyler Perry's show "Too Close To Home" and a co-starring role on Netflix's hit show "Bloodline".
