Ronald David Wood, a multifaceted English rock musician, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, artist, author, and radio personality, has made a lasting impact on the music industry as a member of the iconic rock band the Rolling Stones since 1975, in addition to his stints with Faces and the Jeff Beck Group.
Wood's illustrious career began in 1964, when he joined the Birds on guitar, marking the starting point of his remarkable journey as a musician. However, his tenure with the mod group the Creation was relatively short-lived, as he appeared on only a few of their singles before moving on to other projects.
In 1967, Wood joined the Jeff Beck Group as a bass guitarist, a role that would prove to be pivotal in his development as a musician. The group's two albums, Truth and Beck-Ola, are widely regarded as highly praised and enduring classics of the rock genre.
