Keegan's academic journey began at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama, where she honed her craft in the world of theatre.
Throughout her illustrious career, Keegan has had the privilege of taking on numerous roles in various productions. One of her most notable performances was as Susan in Abigail's Party, directed by the esteemed Sarah Esdaile, as part of the ATG Tour. She also had the opportunity to work with the renowned Alan Ayckbourn on his production of The Revengers Comedies.
In addition to her work in the UK, Keegan has also had the chance to perform abroad. She was handpicked by the acclaimed director Kazuoshi Kushida to join his company at the New National Theatre in Tokyo, where she not only acted but also sang in Japanese.
On the big screen, Keegan has made a name for herself with roles in films such as Thunderbirds (2004),Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010),and Driving Lessons (2006),alongside the talented Rupert Grint and Julie Walters.
With a career spanning over three decades, Keegan has become a familiar face on British television. She has made recurring appearances in Under the Hammer (1993) alongside Richard Wilson, was a regular on Hearts and Bones (2000),and has also made appearances in Gimme Gimme Gimme (1999) by writer Jonathan Harvey.
