Scottish-born Ross King is a highly accomplished and versatile performer, with a career spanning multiple platforms including stage, screen, and radio. He made his theatrical debut at the tender age of five, followed by his first radio broadcast at 15 and his first television appearance at 17.
Throughout his career, King has won numerous awards, including four News Emmys and a Golden Mic Award for his work as the Entertainment Correspondent for KTLA's prime-time news. He is currently a Los Angeles Correspondent for ITV's Good Morning Britain and Lorraine Kelly's show, Lorraine, and regularly appears on Channel 9 News and A Current Affair in Australia.
King has hosted nearly 30 television series for BBC, ITV, and SKY, including ITV's Young Krypton, which he hosted after being chosen from over 3600 hopefuls. He has also anchored BBC's Pebble Mill at One, a live, daily entertainment show, and has traveled across the globe to cover major events such as the Academy Awards and the Cannes Film Festival.
As a journalist, King has interviewed some of the biggest names in Hollywood and beyond, including Brad Pitt, Clint Eastwood, Johnny Depp, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Bieber, and former Prime Minister Tony Blair. He has also reported from The Grammys, The Tonys, The Emmys, and The Academy Awards.
In addition to his work as a journalist and host, King is also an accomplished actor, with film credits including Maleficent, The Day After Tomorrow, and Half Past Dead. He has also appeared in numerous UK musical and stage productions, including a leading role in the West End production of Summer Holiday and the Olivier Award-nominated production of Dick Whittington.
King has also had a successful career in radio, hosting The Euro Chart for the UK and multiple shows on Capital Radio and BBC's National Radio 5. He has won two prestigious Sony Awards for his work in radio and has also co-hosted the American Weekly Top 40 Countdown with legendary DJ, Rick Dees.
In 2015, King's debut novel Taking Hollywood, co-written with Shari Low under the combined name "Shari King", became a best seller, reaching #4 on the Amazon Best Seller's chart. The sequel Breaking Hollywood was released in 2015.
