Ross McCormack's illustrious career in the performing arts began at the tender age of nine, when he took center stage in the West End, tackling lead roles in a trifecta of West End musicals under the esteemed guidance of Cameron Mackintosh.
He honed his craft at the New York Film Academy and the prestigious Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, formerly known as Arts Educational School, where he undoubtedly refined his skills alongside some of the industry's most talented individuals.
As a proud descendant of Anglo-Irish heritage, Ross was raised in Essex, and it's clear that his upbringing played a significant role in shaping his multifaceted talents. Not only is he an exceptionally gifted actor, but he is also a highly skilled drummer, having had the privilege of performing alongside the world-renowned drummer Kenny Jones of The Small Faces in a biographical play centered around that iconic group.
Ross's impressive resume boasts a multitude of television series and film appearances in the UK, showcasing his remarkable range and versatility as a performer. One notable highlight is his role as Young Singe in the feature film Mum's List, where his character's adult counterpart is portrayed by the talented English actor Rafe Spall. The film, penned and directed by Niall Johnson (White Noise, Keeping Mum),is based on the best-selling book by St John (Singe) Greene.
When he's not captivating audiences on screen, Ross also pursues his passion as a professional DJ, spinning tracks in clubs across the globe, further solidifying his status as a multi-faceted performer with a wide range of talents and interests.
