Roxanne Kernohan, a talented actress, significantly enhanced the entertainment value of several enjoyable horror, science fiction, and exploitation films during the late 1980s.
Born on March 20th, 1960, Kernohan initially began her acting career in the late 1980s. Her early roles included a victim in the poorly received slasher film "Fatal Pulse" and a feisty warrior woman in the delightfully cheesy post-nuclear science fiction movie "Phoenix the Warrior."
Roxanne portrayed sex workers in both the campy "Not of This Earth" remake and "Angel III: The Final Chapter." Her most memorable screen role was that of a "Playboy" centerfold that comes to life, complete with a staple in her stomach, in the popular horror-comedy film "Critters 2: The Main Course."
Kernohan also appeared in the big-budget mainstream buddy cop action movie "Tango and Cash" with a small but notable part. She made cameo appearances as herself in the humorous "Scream Queen Hot Tub Party," the critically acclaimed "The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years," and the sultry "Playboy: Sexy Lingerie."
Roxanne Kernohan tragically passed away at the young age of 32 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on February 5th, 1993.
