Ruth Rieser embarked on an educational journey that would shape her future in the performing arts, first attending acting classes at the prestigious Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. This foundational experience was soon followed by her enrollment at the renowned Max-Reinhardt-Seminar in Vienna, Austria, where she successfully completed her studies and earned her diploma in 1989.
In addition to her Austrian education, Ruth Rieser further honed her craft by attending the École Supérieure d'art Dramatique du Théâtre National de Strasbourg in France, a prominent institution that allowed her to broaden her horizons and refine her skills in 1990.
Ruth Rieser's academic pursuits did not stop there. She also delved into the realm of Theatrical Science, enrolling at the University of Vienna, where she devoted herself to the subject and ultimately completed her dissertation on the illustrious Italian stage icon, Eleonora Duse (1858-1924).
