Ryan's extensive career in the entertainment industry spans an impressive 40 years. During this time, he has had the privilege of collaborating with numerous esteemed individuals, including Academy Award winners Steven Spielberg, Robin Williams, Gwyneth Paltrow, Maggie Smith, and Dustin Hoffman in the iconic film Hook. He has also had the opportunity to work alongside Emmy Award winners Sela Ward and George Clooney on the NBC series Sisters, in which he held a series regular role for its entire six-year run.
In addition to his work in television, Ryan has made a significant impact in the world of commercials, having appeared in over 100 national advertisements. He has held the lead role in promoting various products, including Subaru, Coors Lite, and Twix. His voice has also been featured in radio and television spots for prominent brands such as McDonald's, Chevrolet, Taco Bell, CiCi's Pizza, and the CW network and CBS.
Ryan's talents extend beyond acting, as he has also ventured into the world of video games. He played the role of the Patriot and various other characters in the popular game Hitman: Absolution. When he's not in front of the camera or behind the scenes, Ryan is an all-around athlete who has excelled in multiple sports. He lettered in football and soccer, with his soccer team even knocking off the number two team in California on the way to the semi-final round of the California Southern Section Tournament. On the baseball diamond, Ryan set state and school records that still stand today, earning him recognition as a back-to-back All-Westside, All-Outlook, and All-Ocean League selection. He also picked up a trophy in tennis, winning the Adidas Desert Challenge in Mixed Doubles, and a belt buckle in team penning at a rodeo in North Carolina.
