Ryan Haidarian has recently produced a range of notable films, including ACCIDENT, FROM A HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET, and VEHICLE 19, starring Paul Walker, through his film development, production, distribution, and finance entity Forefront Media Group.
Forefront Media Group has successfully distributed a variety of acclaimed films, including the Academy Award-winning STILL ALICE, COLD IN JULY, DETACHMENT, RUST AND BONE, and VEHICLE 19, among others.
Prior to his work at Forefront, Haidarian held senior positions at the National Film and Video Foundation of South Africa, including Head of Development and Production and then Head of New Ventures. During his tenure, the NFVF saw the production and release of several Academy Award-winning and nominated films. One of his notable achievements was the establishment of a distribution division to handle innovative releases in South Africa.
Haidarian's career began after graduating from the University of Texas' film program, where he produced short films in Los Angeles. One of his short films premiered at the Manns Bruin Theater and was featured in a symposium for President Clinton's Initiative on Race. In 1999, Haidarian sold his first television series for syndication and produced THE STORY OF DARREL ROYAL with co-producer Richard Hull. This project, along with subsequent documentaries, went on to win numerous awards, including Telly and Communicator Awards and HBO/Peabody Awards.
Haidarian has also directed episodic television, produced independent features, and directed commercials in the US. He has received numerous awards for his work in socially conscious TV programming, including a bronze Clio for best TV campaign.
