Ryan King is a renowned actor, comedian, and writer, renowned for his captivating performances in the hit television shows Young Rock (2023),George & Tammy (2023),and Will Trent (2023).
Prior to his professional endeavors, Ryan graduated from The Second City Chicago's esteemed Improvisation & Comedic Acting program, where he honed his craft alongside some of the industry's most respected mentors.
Subsequently, Ryan pursued further studies with the likes of Kevin McDonald, a member of the iconic comedy troupe Kid's in the Hall, as well as Michael C. McCarthy, a veteran of Saturday Night Live and the Drew Carey Show. Additionally, he trained with Drama Inc and the Nashville Acting Studio, refining his skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
As a mainstay of Third Coast Comedy Club, Ryan had the privilege of being coached by Grant Collins, a seasoned instructor from Improv Olympic (Chicago),and Erica Elam, a respected coach from Second City (Chicago),further solidifying his expertise in the realm of comedy.
Ryan is a devoted husband to singer-songwriter Carrie King and resides in Atlanta, where he is actively engaged in his profession as an actor, improv instructor with Drama Inc, and screenwriter.
