Ryan's life journey commenced in January 1996, amidst the picturesque landscape of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, a city nestled in the northeastern region of England. Following his academic pursuits, he ventured into the realm of Project A after university, before making a significant career shift by relocating to the bustling metropolis of London. This pivotal move led to his involvement in notable projects, including the 2019 films "1917" and "How to Build a Girl". Prior to his mainstream success, Ryan's creative endeavors began with the creation of short films in collaboration with Newcastle's esteemed Tyneside Cinema. His impressive portfolio also includes his portrayal of the character Dummey in Philip Correia's thought-provoking production, HYEM. Most recently, he has made a mark in the cinematic world by appearing in the critically acclaimed film "1917", directed by the renowned Sam Mendes.
