Sai Lang's journey began on the east coast, where her grandmother, a renowned actress in India, first introduced her to the vibrant world of Tollywood, sparking a lifelong passion for the performing arts.
As a young lead, Sai Lang effortlessly shone in not one, but two Tollywood films, before deciding to return to the United States to continue pursuing her acting dreams.
Upon her return, Sai Lang discovered the UCB Theatre, where she began to hone her improvisational skills and write sketches as an in-house performer, further developing her talents.
Her next move was to co-found The Get Brown, the first all-South Asian sketch team, which has successfully secured two projects in development for television, a testament to Sai Lang's entrepreneurial spirit and creative vision.
In addition to her work with The Get Brown, Sai Lang has also had the opportunity to work as a cast member and writer for the 2020 CBS Showcase, and has been appointed as a Consulting Producer for their 2023 showcase, further solidifying her position as a talented and versatile performer in the entertainment industry.
