Saidah Arrika Ekulona is a renowned and accomplished actress, having made a significant impact in the world of theater, television, and film. Her extensive and diverse body of work has taken her to various stages, including Broadway, off-Broadway, regional theaters, and international theaters.
One of her most notable achievements is originating the role of Mama Nadi in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Ruined, a performance that earned her numerous accolades, including the Obie Award, Lucille Lortel Award, Jeff Award, Audelco Award, and the Black Theatre Alliance Award.
