His creative endeavors extended to the realm of music, as he authored lyrics for romantic and nationalistic songs, as well as screenplays and dialogues.
Salah's impressive filmography includes productions such as "Khalli Ballak men Zuzu" ("Watch Out for Zuzu"),"Amirat Hobby Anna", "Shafiq wa Metwally" ("Shafiqa and Metwally"),and "al-Muttawahisha" ("Monstrous").
