Sam Johnson is a renowned British writer and director, whose impressive career has spanned multiple decades and numerous acclaimed projects.
His 2018 film, "Earthy Encounters," was a groundbreaking achievement, being the first short film to be shot on the Arri Alexa 65. The film premiered at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival and went on to be showcased at over 100 international festivals, solidifying its status as a cinematic masterpiece.
Prior to "Earthy Encounters," Johnson's 2015 film, "Billy the Kid," received widespread critical acclaim, winning audience awards at several Oscar-qualifying film festivals, including Palm Springs, Aesthetica, Rhodes Island, and Boston. His debut short film, "Jasmine's Revolution," premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in 2013, marking the beginning of his successful career in the film industry.
