Samantha Wan is a multifaceted artist, hailing from Toronto, where she has established herself as a talented actor-filmmaker. As the co-creator and star of the prime time comedy series Second Jen on CityTV, she has showcased her remarkable versatility and comedic chops.
In addition to her work on Second Jen, Wan has also made a significant impact on the small screen by playing a recurring character, Zoe Chow, in the hit Canadian series Private Eyes. This impressive feat is a testament to her ability to adapt to diverse roles and genres.
Wan's journey in the entertainment industry began with her graduation from the National Theatre School of Canada in 2011. She then made her mark by starring in the feature film Devil's Mile, followed by a string of online series, including Leslieville, Ruby Skye P.I., and Out With Dad.

Behind the camera, Wan has demonstrated her skills as a co-director, working on the shorts "Where is Kitty Go Lightly" and "Second Jen Short film" in 2014. Her passion for dance is also evident, with a particular fondness for jazz and urban street dance.
As a fourth-generation martial artist, Wan has dedicated herself to the art of Wing Chun, studying under the tutelage of Grand Master Sunny Tang. This skillset is complemented by her certification as a combatant for stage and screen with Fight Directors of Canada.
