Samia Akariou, a renowned Moroccan actress, hails from the picturesque city of Chefchaouen. Her journey in the world of drama began at the prestigious Institute of Dramatic Arts and Cultural Animation (IDAC/ISADAC),where she honed her craft.
Subsequently, Samia Akariou pursued her passion for the performing arts at the Dramatic Art Conservatory in Paris, showcasing her talents in various theatre productions, including "L'adolescenceretardée". Her impressive performances did not go unnoticed, and she was soon invited to participate in a tour in Jordan, where she brought to life the captivating play "L'enfant de la paix" (Son of peace) at the Experimental Theater Festival in Cairo.
Samia Akariou's remarkable talent was further showcased through her engaging kids show "Litifle" on the TVM. Her breakthrough role in the movie "Lalla Hobbi" catapulted her to fame, followed by her notable performances in "Les amis d'hier" (1998) and "Ali, Rabia et les autres" (2000).
In recent years, Samia Akariou spearheaded a national tour for the acclaimed play "Bnat Lalla Mnana", which enjoyed immense success in Morocco, solidifying her position as a respected and accomplished actress in the Moroccan entertainment industry.
