Biography

Samuel/Shmuel Dresner, a remarkable individual with a profound history, is a survivor of the devastating Holocaust. His life took a drastic turn during the tumultuous years of World War II, when he was forced to reside in the Warsaw ghetto, a notoriously dire and impoverished area.

As the war raged on, Dresner's circumstances worsened, and he was subsequently taken to various concentration camps, including the infamous Buchenwald and Theresienstadt. These camps, notorious for their inhumane conditions and brutal treatment of prisoners, would have likely been the end for many, but fate had other plans for Dresner.

In 1945, Dresner's life was forever changed when he was liberated from the Theresienstadt camp by the Russian forces. This liberation marked the beginning of a new chapter in Dresner's life, one filled with hope, resilience, and the determination to rebuild and thrive in the face of unimaginable adversity.
