Born in Germany to Lillian and Steven Hutchison, a former calf-roper and bronco rider turned communications solutions manager, Sarah is of Korean and Irish descent, and grew up with two brothers, with the notion that home is where the suitcase is open, constantly on the move.
On the cusp of a deployment to Afghanistan and in the aftermath of a cancer diagnosis, Sarah embarked on a journey that led them to the Baltimore Playwright's Festival, earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Reel Independent Film Extravaganza in DC for their role as Claire in the independent feature film Geographically Desirable, and relocated to Brooklyn, New York, driven by a passion for pizza and the pursuit of adventure.
